Dear colleagues and friends,

Globalization and competition, especially the development of the digital world, are not restrained. They eliminate national boundaries and foster increasingly fierce competition. We, as professionals in the health sector, must be prepared to face global challenges with various competencies in the field of science, especially laser vision correction.

The international seminar titled Mystery of “Laser Vision Correction” From Science to Business, will be held for the first time by the SILC Lasik Center with the aim to increase knowledge and introduce a point of view as a professional ophthalmologist, including the business side of LASIK clinics. I hope that this activity can provide information and knowledge while also increasing competence in the LASIK industry.

We are very grateful to IDI, PERDAMI and the Nepal Ophthalmology Society for supporting and assisting the SILC Lasik Center on this International Seminar. Thank you to Dr. Kishore Raj Pradan (Nepal), Dr. Jerry Tan (Singapore), Deepak Singhal (India), Gabriel Juan Heredia MD (Philippines), Dr. Kirana A. Sampurna, SpM, SH, MH.Kes, DR. Tantri Yanuar, RS, and our SILC Lasik Center ophthalmologist who are willing to be speakers and Dr. Faraby Martha SpM (K), who will be moderating our event.

Together, at this event, we can increase capabilities and knowledge of LASIK eye surgery in order to bring ophthalmology forward and improve the quality of vision in Indonesia through a classy and respected eye health industry in Asia and Europe.
